Bhopal, (UNI) — The Madhya Pradesh Assembly presented the state’s new budget today, featuring several critical provisions aimed at advancing various sectors. The following are the main highlights:

Farmer Welfare and Agricultural Development

Rs 1,000 crore for crop procurement bonuses at support prices
Rs 850 crore allocated under the Chief Minister’s Agricultural Improvement Scheme
Rs 275 crore for the National Agricultural Development Scheme
Rs 230 crore for subsidies on tractors and agricultural equipment
Rs 70 crore for the ATMA project (Agricultural Technology Management Agency)
Rs 120 crore for Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University (Jabalpur) block grants
Rs 58 crore for establishing a Soil Conservation Office
Rs 5,220 crore for the Chief Minister’s Farmer Welfare Scheme
