Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 8 (UNI) The Media Cell for the 29th edition of IFFK will be inaugurated by Kerala Minister for Higher Education and Social Justice, Dr R Bindu at Tagore Theatre, Vazhuthacaud, here on Sunday.
The event will be attended by prominent personalities from film and cultural fields. The welcome address will be delivered by C Ajoy, Secretary of Chalachitra Academy, followed by the introductory speech by Premkumar, Chairman of Chalachitra Academy. R S Babu, Chairman of Kerala Media Academy, will preside over the ceremony.
T V Subash IAS, Director of the Information and Public Relations Department, will introduce the Media Cell. Special felicitations will be offered by Shaji N. Karun (Chairman, Kerala State Film Development Corporation), Madhupal (Chairman, Cultural Workers Welfare Fund Board), K.G. Santhosh (Additional Director, I&PRD), K. Suresh Kumar (Deputy Director, I&PRD), Ravi Menon (General Council Member, Kerala State Chalachitra Academy) and Anupama G. Nair (Convenor, Media Committee). H. Shaji (Deputy Director, Festival, Chalachitra Academy) will deliver the vote of thanks.
The news, photos, videos and latest announcements of the seven-day film festival will be shared to the media persons through the 21-member media cell.
