Bhopal: Kasturba Hospital, BHEL Bhopal, celebrated its 59th Foundation Day on Wednesday with enthusiasm and ceremonial grandeur. Pradeep Kumar Upadhyay, General Manager and Unit Head, BHEL Bhopal, graced the occasion as the chief guest. He was joined by T.U. Singh, General Manager (HR), several General Managers, DROs, and the President of the BHEL Ladies Club, Rosy Upadhyay. Also present were Sangeeta Ramanathan, members of the Medical Advisory Committee, and representatives of various unions.
The event commenced with a warm welcome extended to the chief guest by Dr (Smt) Pomila Sachdev, Chief of Medical Services. During the ceremony, Upadhyay felicitated outstanding employees from departments including Patient Care, Housekeeping, and Security, recognising their dedication to ensuring the efficient functioning of the hospital.
A vibrant cultural programme presented by hospital staff added colour to the celebration and was widely appreciated by the audience. The occasion saw the participation of doctors, paramedical teams, nursing staff, and a large number of officers and employees, reflecting the collective spirit and commitment that has defined Kasturba Hospital for nearly six decades.
