Kashi celebrates Modi’s 75th birthday with 75kg cake

Varanasi, Sep 17 (UNI) A 75-kilogram cake was cut by Mayor Ashok Kumar Tiwari and District Magistrate Satyendra Kumar at the Jalkal office in Bhelupur to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday.

On this occasion, the Municipal Corporation laid the foundation stone and inaugurated development projects worth Rs 130 crore as a gift to the residents of Kashi.

Mayor Ashok Kumar Tiwari stated that the Municipal Corporation inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development projects worth Rs 130 crore.

These included road construction, repair work, drainage, beautification of ponds, and well restoration. Five crore rupees have been sanctioned for well restoration, and 513 wells have been identified. Additionally, several other projects, including a mobile animal tethering vehicle, were also inaugurated.

District Magistrate Satyendra Kumar said that the Municipal Corporation has initiated several schemes to preserve the mythological significance of Kashi, including the revival of ponds, tanks, and wells.

On the occasion of the Prime Minister’s birthday, sand artists Rupesh Singh, Hrithik Paswan, Aryan Upadhyay, Mohan Singh, and Anshu Kumari created a sand sculpture of the Prime Minister, titled “Green India and Clean India,” at the Jalkal complex, conveying the message of cleanliness. They conveyed their best wishes to the Prime Minister through this sculpture.
