Kanya Bhoj held to mark culmination of Navratri

Programme also organized at CM House

Bhopal: There is excitement in the capital on Navratri, the festival of worship of Shakti. On Monday, the ninth day of Navratri, along with Maha Navmi Puja and Kanya Puja, Bhandaras were organized at many places. Crowds of devotees kept thronging the temples throughout the day and chants of Maa Bhavani kept echoing. A confluence of faith and devotion was seen in the goddess’ courts.

Havan, Kanya Bhoj and Bhandaras were organized at the end of Navratri on Monday. Right from Brahma Muhurta, a crowd of devotees started gathering at Curfew Mata Temple, Kali Mandir Talaiya and Mata Mandir located in TT Nagar. Apart from this, long queues of devotees were also seen in Gufa Mandir, Birla Temple and Shri Badwale Mahadev Temple. At Jagadguru Shankaracharya Ashram Jharneshwar Temple, 56 offerings were made to Mother Tripura Sundari on Maha Navmi. During this time a large number of devotees were present in the temple. Maha Aarti was performed at Durga Dham, Nav Durga Temple located in Ashoka Garden.

Due to the festival of Navratri, Shatchandi Maha Rudra is being organized at Shri Dadaji Dhuni Wale Darbar in Shyamala Hills of the city. Daily oblations are being offered by learned Brahmins amidst Dada Naam Sankirtan and Vedic mantras. On Navami, a Bhandara was organized along with a special havan in Kanya Bhojan.

Process of immersion of tableaux will begin

Durga Mahanavami festival was celebrated in Sarvarthasiddhi-Raviyoga. Navratri festival will end on Monday and with this the process of immersion of tableaux will begin. However, the immersion of the idols of all the major tableaux will be done on Tuesday.

Programme at CM’s House

Today Navratri festival is ending with Mahanavami. On this auspicious occasion, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan performed Kanya Puja at CM House like every year, this time too.

Chouhan and his wife Sadhna Singh performed Kanya Puja at their residence in Bhopal on the last day of Navaratri.

This time, Kanya Puja is being organized on a large scale with BJP candidates from six assembly seats of the capital Bhopal, in which more than 350 girls participated. During this, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and his wife Sadhana Singh washed the feet of these girls and performed pujan. In the programme, the girls were welcomed and served food with love.

CM Shivraj and his wife Sadhna Singh themselves served food to the girls and offered them the delicacies with their own hands. Bhajans are also being sung by groups in the Kanya Puja program.

Seva Bharti performs pujan pf 21000 girls and distributed gifts

Kanya Puja, Prasad and gift distribution was held in 190 Seva Bastis in seven divisions under Seva Bharti Mahanagar. Seva Bharti division in-charge Karan Singh Kaushik, Ajit Madhavani, Triloki Agarwal, Karan Singh Kaushik, former judge Shivmangal Singh welcomed the girls by distributing gifts.

Bhagwan Das Dhalia, media in-charge of Seva Bharti Mahanagar, said that the worship of girls has mythological and cultural religious significance. Seva Bharti has been organizing this event for the past years with the people, teachers of Seva Bastis and the society. In this, the main associates Manoj Soni, Satyendra Sahu, Mukund Aggarwal, Surendra Mishra, Pradeep Gupta, Harish Gupta, Devendra Chauhan, Shivendra Tomar, Kishore Devnani, Sanjay Abhay, Anoop Parashar, Kapil Chauhan etc. cooperate in the arrangements.
