Gond Art is the painting of the Pardhan Gonds, who are natives of Madhya Pradesh in Central India. Gond Art is characterised by mythological and folkloric themes, floral and faunal motifs, and patterned designs that subtly fill each motif. There is no end to its attractions; the interrelationship between humans and animals, the uniquely drawn creatures, the variety of colour combinations, the beauty of the patterned designs, etc.
Certified workshop of Tribal Gond Art will be organized by Artway and Create Stories from 20 to 25 December at Abhinav Kala Samaj in which techniques from basic to advanced will be taught by tribal artists.
