Jio’s Haptik launches ‘WhatsApp AI agents’ at starting price Rs 10,000 for SMBs

New Delhi, Sep 3 (UNI) Haptik, a subsidiary of Reliance Jio, today launched a new initiative, ‘AI for All’, to provide small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) with enterprise-grade ‘WhatsApp AI agents’ at an entry price of Rs 10,000.

The WhatsApp AI agents are conversational virtual assistants that use artificial intelligence (AI) to automate customer interactions. These agents can understand context, adapt to complex requests, and provide personalised responses, helping businesses manage customer queries and sales.

The new pricing model allows SMBs to pay based on their usage.

Haptik CEO Ahshad Jussawala highlighted the affordability of WhatsApp as a communication channel for SMBs. “Launching these AI agents on WhatsApp makes them the most accessible and relevant tools for this segment,” he said.

“With AI agents, we’ve reimagined automation to be simpler, faster, and more affordable than ever before. Early adopters are already seeing 80 per cent of their repetitive customer support queries resolved automatically, along with a 20-25 per cent increase in lead-to-sale conversations,” Jussawala added.

Powered by Large Language Models (LLMs), the Haptik AI agents can autonomously handle complex tasks such as resolving customer queries, managing sales journeys, and coordinating multi-step actions.
