State Congress President Jeetu Patwari has accused the state of jungle raj while cornering the government over the case of alleged rape of a young woman by a middle-aged man in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh and subsequent attempt to murder of the young woman by the accused’s son.
Patwari posted on X, Jungle Raj is now rampant in Madhya Pradesh. Every day the pages of newspapers are found stained with the blood of daughters. A heinous crime is committed against an 18-year-old daughter in Khandwa, and when she files a report with the police, the accused’s son burns her by pouring petrol on her.
Madhya Pradesh has now become a place worse than Taliban for daughters, where neither are they safe, nor are the criminals getting the protection of the BJP government, due to which crimes against daughters are increasing day by day. He alleged that the government which gave the slogan of ‘Beti Padhao, Beti Bachao’ is neither able to educate the daughters nor save them.
The girl was set on fire by pouring petrol
It is alleged that an 18-year-old girl from Khandwa was raped two days ago by her middle-aged neighbour Mangilal. The accused was arrested by the police on the complaint of the victim, but he came out on bail a day later. After this, the accused’s son poured petrol on the rape victim standing outside his house and set her on fire, due to which the girl got severely burnt. She is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
