New Delhi, Nov 1 (UNI) The much-anticipated Telugu film Peddi, starring Ram Charan, has been generating excitement since its announcement.
Taking the buzz higher, the makers have unveiled the first look of Janhvi Kapoor, confirming her as Ram Charan’s onscreen love interest.
Today, the film’s team revealed Janhvi’s character name, Achiyyamma, along with two striking posters. Sharing them on social media, the actress wrote, “Peddi’s love with a firebrand attitude. #Achiyyamma. #PEDDI GLOBAL RELEASE ON 27th MARCH, 2026.”
In the first poster, Janhvi appears in a simple saree, exuding grace and confidence, while the second shows her standing atop a jeep, waving to a cheering crowd — a glimpse into her bold and fearless persona.
Earlier, in September, the makers had released a special poster of Ram Charan, marking his 18 years in the film industry, portraying him in a rugged, rebellious look on a railway track with the tagline, “The Journey Has Just Begun.”
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame, Peddi also features Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu in key roles.
Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings presenting, Peddi is set for a global theatrical release on March 27, 2026.
