Bhopal: CM Dr. Mohan Yadav has urged Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad to develop model villages focussing on agriculture, animal husbandry, environmental protection. Creating awareness among the general public towards development of model villages should also be undertaken on priority.
Dr. Yadav apprised himself about the activities of the governing body of the Parishad at the Mantralaya on Monday and gave necessary instructions.
Senior officials including Deputy Chief Minister Shri Jagdish Deora and Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Shri Prahlad Patel were present.
Dr. Yadav said that the activities taken up by the Parishad are commendable. The work of encouraging panchayats for the development of model villages should be undertaken continuously by the Parishad. Work should be done to boost awareness in the field of heritage and rural tourism and to mobilize public support in the villages. Similarly, by contacting the farmers, zero budget farming must be promoted. Improving the breed of animals, resolving village issues, along with honouring dispute-free Gram Panchayats should also be taken up .
Release of course booklets
Dr. Yadav, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Devda and Panchayat and Rural Development and Labour Minister Shri Patel jointly released various course booklets. Under the Chief Minister’s Community Leadership Capacity Development Programme, the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) First Year Course was released on behalf of Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya University, Chitrakoot. Along with this, books of Masters of Social Work Course (MSW)were also released. The report of Voice of Landless and Socio-economic Condition of Agriculture, Labor was presented in the meeting.
