Mumbai, Nov 20 (UNI) Bollywood’s macho hero Jackie Shroff has been appointed as the face of All Living Things Environmental Film Festival (ALT EFF), scheduled to begin November 22, which aims to leverage the emotive power of cinema to foster climate awareness and inspire transformative action for a sustainable future.
Recognised for his enduring commitment to environmental conservation, Jackie Shroff’s association with ALT EFF aligns seamlessly with the festival’s mission to promote climate awareness through the emotional power of cinema. As a brand ambassador, he augments this festival’s core mission to build a greener tomorrow.
Shroff said he is ecstatic to be the face of ALT EFF.
“I believe that films are one of the powerful ways that bring people together, and what better than our very own films to inspire the next generation to take charge for a better tomorrow.”
“ALT EFF is more than a film festival, it’s a massive collaboration of all of us working towards a greener tomorrow, and I am more than eager to witness the enthusiasm and the unity”, the actor remarked.
In addition to the environmental works, Shroff continues to receive adulation for his portrayal of the character of Umar Hafeez in “Singham Returns”, as the antagonist.
Meanwhile he is also gearing up to play the character of Babbar Sher for the release of his upcoming movie “Baby John” including the ensemble cast of Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, and Wamiqa Gabbi. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Sooraj Patel, “Baby John” is set to hit the theatres on December 25.
