Madrid, Aug 12 (UNI) Atletico Madrid has made its seventh signing ahead of the new La Liga season with the confirmation that Italian international forward Giacomo Raspadori has arrived from Serie A champions Napoli.
The 25-year-old has agreed a five-year contract until June 2030. Raspadori has cost around 22 million euros (25.5 million U.S. dollars) and takes the Atletico’s total spend this summer to just over 170 million euros, although it has recovered around 70 million in sales.
The striker is not a prolific goalscorer, with only 11 goals in 63 appearances for Napoli and nine in 40 games for the Italian national team.
Atletico kicks off the new season in Barcelona, away to Espanyol on August 17th.
