- Case of cancelled appointments of transport constables
- Congress demands investigation by High Court judge
Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal
Madhya Pradesh Congress has raised questions on the investigation of Vyapam mega scam regarding the cancelled appointments of 45 transport constables after 12 years on the direction of the Supreme Court.
Congress alleged that the investigating agency CBI has deceived even the Supreme Court. Congress demanded that now the investigation of all 168 examinations of Vyapam should be done under the supervision of a sitting judge of the Hon’ble High Court. Former Union Minister Arun Yadav and media advisor KK Mishra, while talking to journalists on Thursday, opened a front against the investigating agency CBI regarding the cancellation of appointments. Both the leaders said that this decision has raised questions on the credibility of the working system of CBI and the investigation of irregularities in the examinations conducted through Vyapam.
Congress raised these 5 questions
– If the investigation process was fair and transparent, then why would the above decision of the Supreme Court come after 12 years? This decision is like the CBI cheating the country’s top court.
– Why are the big crocodiles out of the scam that messed up the future of 1.47 lakh youth of the state, in which the then Governor of the state was investigated on the direction of the High Court?
– Why did the CBI not question the then Chief Minister of the state and the then Chief of Vyapam, Ranjana Chaudhary, in such a big scam?
– On 22 January 2014, STF had given an affidavit in the High Court saying that documents till the year 2008 are not present in Vyapam, how can we investigate?
– The leaders said that the MP Public Service Commission keeps the answer sheets of the examinations conducted by it safe for 10 years and the results for 20 years, the same rule applies to Vyapam as well, then how, why and in whose direction were the documents destroyed in Vyapam?
