Bhopal – In a significant move to offer accessible and comfortable pilgrimage experiences, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) is launching the “Dakshin Darshan Yatra” aboard the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train. This special train is set to depart from Indore on July 5, 2025.
The tour will make stops at key stations including Indore, Ujjain, Shujalpur, Sehore, Rani Kamalapati, Itarsi, Betul, and Nagpur, allowing passengers from these regions to join the journey. Notably, the train’s passage through Rani Kamalapati and Itarsi stations will provide convenient access for travelers in the Bhopal division.
This 9-night, 10-day itinerary will take pilgrims to renowned South Indian spiritual destinations such as Tirupati, Rameswaram, Madurai, Kanyakumari, and Trivandrum.
According to Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria, the all-inclusive package is priced at just Rs 18,000 per person for Sleeper (Economy Class), Rs 29,500 per person for 3AC (Standard Class), and Rs 38,500 per person for 2AC (Comfort Class).
The comprehensive package includes comfortable rail travel in special LHB coaches, onboard and off-board vegetarian meals, quality bus services for local sightseeing, clean hotel/Dharamshala accommodations, experienced tour escorts, travel insurance, and onboard housekeeping and security.
