Tehran/Jerusalem, June 24 (UNI) Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said there was no ceasefire or military operation agreement yet, but if Israel stopped its “aggression” no later than 4 a.m. (00:30 Moscow time), Tehran would no longer launch strikes.
Araghchi posted the statement on his X account at 00:46 GMT.
“As of now, there is NO “agreement” on any ceasefire or cessation of military operations. However, provided that the Israeli regime stops its illegal aggression against the Iranian people no later than 4 am Tehran time, we have no intention to continue our response afterwards,” the Iranian foreign minister said.
Araghchi added that a final decision on cessation of Iran’s military operations would be made later.
US President Donald Trump said on June 24 that Israel and Iran had agreed to a ceasefire that would, after 24 hours, be an official end to the 12-day war.
