Internship for law students conclude at MPHRC

Bhopal: The one month internship for the students of law faculty, which is conducted every year in Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission, was completed on Tuesday. This training had started from June 16. In the internship, the students of law faculty studying in the country’s reputed law universities and colleges were given training by resource persons on various subjects including human rights and the functioning of the commission.

Mainly students of Maharashtra National Law University Nagpur, Career College of Law Bhopal, Renaissance Law College Indore, LNCT University Bhopal, K.C. College Mumbai, Ishwar Saran Degree College Allahabad Prayag, Institute of Law Bhopal, PIMR DAVV Indore, Barkatullah University, ITM University Gwalior, Government PG State Law College Bhopal and Bhabha University Bhopal participated in the internship.

Acting Chairman greets students

Acting Chairman of Human Rights Commission, Shri Rajiv Kumar Tandon said that all the students have received the training with full dedication, which is commendable. He said that I wish the students a bright future. He congratulated them on receiving the training. Shri Tandon said that every year internship program is conducted for the students of Law Department in two sessions. Former member of Human Rights Commission Shri Sarabjeet Singh gave training on Human Rights through PPT presentation. Deputy Superintendent of Police of the Commission Shri Rajesh Guru gave information about the activities of the Commission. Research Officer Shri Sanjay Kumar Vishwakarma conducted a tour and study of various branches of the office. Deputy Secretary of the Commission Shri D.S. Parmar gave training on the concept of Human Rights. Acting Chairman of Human Rights Commission Shri Tandon also distributed certificates to all the trainees.

In the internship, presentation and training was given to the students by various subject experts. Officers and employees of Human Rights Commission were present on this occasion.
