Bhopal: The Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) on Thursday hosted a meaningful session on inter-religious dialogue, aimed at fostering harmony, mutual respect, and spiritual understanding among students of diverse faiths. The event welcomed esteemed guests, including IAS Manoj Srivastava (State Election Commissioner), Prof. Dr. Humayun Rashid Khan (National Judicial Academy), Prof. Charanjeet Kaur (Principal, Career College), and Dr. Father Suresh M. (Rector, St. Arnold’s School, Indore).
The discussion was engaging and thought-provoking, with students raising relevant questions on anxiety, loneliness, the influence of social media, and the conflict between material success and spiritual fulfillment. The panelists highlighted that religion, far from being outdated, continues to offer strength and guidance in the modern world.
Srivastava spoke on the grounding power of daily spiritual practice. Prof. Khan emphasized that all religions advocate compassion, justice, and service. Prof. Kaur urged a balance between ambition and humility, while Father Suresh encouraged prayer and introspection as tools for inner peace.
