Indra Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya to Host ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’

Focus on Anti-Corruption and Shared Responsibility

Bhopal: The Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS) in Bhopal is set to observe “Vigilance Awareness Week” from October 27 to November 2, 2025, following the directives of the Central Vigilance Commission. The theme for this year’s campaign is “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.”

The week aims to foster a culture of honesty, transparency, and accountability among citizens and staff. The awareness drive kicks off on Monday, October 27th, with an Integrity Pledge ceremony at 11:00 AM.

Key events include a special lecture on “Eradicating Corruption and National Consciousness” on October 28th and a Poster/Painting Competition on October 29th themed “Corruption-Free Self-Reliant India.” The week will also incorporate a training session on fire extinguisher usage on October 30th.

Adding a national focus, the museum will host a ‘Run for Unity’ and a documentary screening on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on October 31st to mark National Unity Day. Museum Director Prof. (Dr.) Amitabh Pande and Public Relations Officer Hemant Bahadur Singh Parihar have urged active participation from all staff and visitors in this vital campaign.
