Indore-Harda highway to be completed by Dec

Indore. A new deadline has been issued to finish the work of Indore-Harda highway. Under this, the agency will have to complete the construction work by December. After reviewing, the regional officer of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) SK Singh has given these instructions.

50 percent of the work of this eight-lane highway has been completed. According to officials, 16 villages will benefit from the construction of the highway. Instead of the roadside, plants will be planted on the empty land between the dividers, because land has been left for the expansion of villages around the edges.

The road is being built keeping in mind heavy vehicles including two-wheelers and cars in the highway, which will have two service lanes and four lanes of the main road. Half the work has been done so far. The work of the service lane is still going on slowly.

NHAI officials have set a deadline of completing 85-90 percent of the work by June. The remaining ten percent work and plantation work have time till December.

Review will be done every month

Twenty to twenty-five thousand vehicles will pass on the highway daily. For this, the construction work of Indore-Harda highway will be reviewed every month. The officials will have to inspect and send the report to the regional office of NHAI.
