Mumbai, Nov 5 (UNI) The BCCI Men’s Senior Selection Committee has picked India’s squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against South Africa.
Shubman Gill will lead the side, with wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant named as vice-captain, marking his return to Test cricket after injury.
India began the current WTC cycle against England 2-2 away from home, and clean swept the West Indies last month in a two-match Test series at home.
Alongside established stars such as Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj, the selectors have included promising names like Sai Sudharsan, Devdutt Padikkal and Nitish Kumar Reddy.

The Selection Committee has also picked India A’s squad for the three-match one-day series to be held in Rajkot against South Africa A.
