India sends medical equipment to Zambia

New Delhi, Nov 28 (UNI) India on Thursday sent medical equipment to Zambia comprising hospital beds, operation theatre tables and anaesthesia machines, to strengthen the healthcare system of the southern African country.

The MEA spokesperson posted on X that the consignment departed from Nhava Sheva port:

“Bolstering the India-Zambia partnership!

“In a gesture of solidarity, India is supplying medical equipment to the Government of Zambia.

“The consignment consisting of hospital beds, operation theatre tables, infant incubators and resuscitaires, anaesthesia machines and other products, departed Nhava Sheva port, Mumbai today. It will contribute to strengthening the healthcare system of Zambia.”
