India restricted New Zealand to 239/8 in 50 overs in the first semi-final knock out stage of the ICC Cricket World Cup’s rain affected match which was suspended on Tuesday, but play resumed on Wednesday which was kept as reserve day.
With Indian bowlers fine bowling spell New Zealand skipper Kane Willamson 67 and Ross Taylor 74 took the team out of trouble and scored a defendable score.
Earlier, on Tuesday New Zealand were 211/5 in 46.1 overs and continued their play on reserve day.
On Tuesday rain continued and play was suspended which stretched to reserve day.
Ross Taylor 67 and Tom Latham 3 continued their play on Wednesday.
