Batting first, India posted 167 for 8 in their 20 overs. Shubman Gill led the charge with 46 off 39 balls, while Abhishek Sharma contributed 28.
Shivam Dube added 22 runs and Suryakumar Yadav 20, providing crucial momentum in the middle overs. Axar Patel and Washington Sundar’s late hitting, including Axar’s towering sixes off Marcus Stoinis in the 19th over, lifted India to a competitive total.
