Protest by visually challenged students continues

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal The protest by visually challenged students at Neelam Park entered 13th day on Friday. The protesters are demanding employment and other basic facilities. On December 26, the students had held ‘Jal Satyagraha’ in Lower Lake. They had hit the roads to in support of their demands for employment, education and hostel facilities. The students braved chill and sat on the road to demand employment and other basic facilities. The head of the union, Manish, while talking to media persons said they had written to all concerned authorities and informed them about their needs but no action was taken. He said our main demands are education and employment. There are no universities or schools for us and the students who have completed schools have nowhere to go. He added that they will continue the stir until their demands were fulfilled.
