Increasing number of dengue patients at the end of September raises concerns

These days, the outbreak of dengue seems to be increasing rapidly in the capital. Due to the rapid increase in cases in hospitals, an atmosphere of chaos has been created. Most of the patients in Bhopal’s hospitals are suffering from dengue, cough, sore throat and viral fever.

If doctors are to be believed, the number of dengue patients has increased rapidly in the last few days. While, some patients have the problem of cough and sore throat. At the same time, patients suffering from dengue also complain of pain in legs, waist, neck and muscles. Most of the cases in the capital are coming from the Kolar area. Dengue larvae have been found in Kolar only in the last 10 days. On which the malaria department and the municipal corporation have also jointly imposed a fine. The district health department, malaria department and municipal corporation are failing to prevent dengue. Till Saturday, 9 dengue cases have been reported in Bhopal.

The situation is that 5-6 dengue patients are being found in Bhopal every day. After all this, more than 300 dengue patients have been found in Bhopal so far. The number of dengue patients in July was 51 and in August 63 patients were recorded. Let us tell you that due to accumulation of water in and around houses, dengue mosquitoes start breeding in it. Which causes harm. However, the dengue mosquito or Aedes aegypti breeds in clean water. Along with this, it is most active during the day. The bite of a dengue mosquito first causes fever which turns into dengue. Apart from this, it is also said that the dengue mosquito cannot fly above the knee. Therefore, avoid its bite.

A fine of Rs 10,000 was imposed on finding larvae in the cooler at Rudraksh Hospital located in Mandakini B Sector.

A fine of 5 thousand rupees was imposed on finding larvae in the cooler of B Care Child Hospital located in Danish Kunj and a fine of 10 thousand rupees was imposed on finding larvae in the water tank of Ortho Care Hospital.

Clean drinking water regularly

To prevent dengue, do not let rain water accumulate on any object or place. Clean drinking water regularly. Do not let water remain in the coolers of houses for a long time. Keep the drains clean as well. Always keep the water covered. Try to wear full sleeve clothes most of the time, using mosquito net while sleeping is a proper solution. At the same time, use spray and cream to repel mosquitoes.
