- Dr Yadav opens 2-day IFS Meet and Forestry Conference
Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that in areas like Panna of the state, where the status of wildlife had become zero, even there the activities of wildlife resumed as a result of the efforts of forest officials, this is a symbol of their commitment towards their service and they deserve congratulations. At present, the state has diamond, cheetahs and now even the elephants are heading towards Madhya Pradesh. The forest area of the state is rich. Between the years 2003 and 2021, the forest area has increased by 1063 square kilometers.
Bhopal is the only capital in the country, around which tigers can be easily seen. This is a pleasant and big achievement for our state from the environmental point of view. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inaugural session of the two-day IFS (Indian Forest Service) Meet and Forestry Conference at Pandit Khushilal Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya Auditorium. CM Dr. Yadav inaugurated the conference by lighting the lamp and garlanding the statue of Maa Saraswati.
