Construction is going on at many places in the capital. The Municipal Corporation and the Public Works Department (PWD) have put brakes on the work leaving it incomplete. This causes inconvenience to the people of Bhopal.
These include the construction work of the six lane of Kolar. This work has been going on for a long time and was to be completed by July 2024, but now half of September has also passed and this work has not been completed yet. However, now it is being claimed that this road will be completed by the end of September. Many people are facing inconvenience due to this construction work. Because, the movement of vehicles is happening on one road only. Due to which there is a fear of falling while passing the vehicle on it. In the recent rains, there was a lot of chaos here. Apart from this, it is surprising that potholes have started appearing on the recently built road. The patchwork work of which is yet to be done. Apart from this, the work of laying sewage lines was done recently in a part of Sarvadharma Colony in Kolar, that is also being done. Due to this also the work of six lanes is not getting completed.
On completion of this work, the road construction can be started. Apart from this, work is also being done on the road going from Mandakani Chauraha to Banjari Chauraha. As it is on a slope, Mandakani Chauraha gets filled with water. Therefore, the work of the drainage system will be done first, after that this construction work can be carried forward. At the same time, the work of the sewage line is going on on the road going to Damkheda. There is a canal on the road coming from Priyanka Nagar Chauraha. The work was stopped here due to the bridge construction work. Near Mother Teresa also the construction of the bridge is going on at a slow pace due to the pipeline.
When people commute on one road, it causes inconvenience to drivers. Thousands of vehicles pass through this road throughout the day. Due to which, traffic jams occur many times during the day. People are often late in reaching their destination. Here, the maximum jam occurs near Sarvadharma Colony. Every day, when thousands of people leave their homes on office time, a jam situation occurs here every day. Because, when vehicles from Sarvadharma B Sector come to the main road, vehicles coming from both sides get stuck on the main road. Since then, the old bridge has also become completely dilapidated. Therefore, there is no other way left to commute. On the other hand, the road on the other side, which is to be worked on, has been filled with ballast.

The work of Kolar Six lane will be completed by the end of September. The work on the Sarvadharma side is still left, it has also been started. After the completion of the sewage work of Sarvadharma Colony, the remaining road construction work here will also be completed.

The work on Kolar Six lane road is going on at a slow pace. Due to this, Kolar residents are troubled. PWD work is going on at a slow pace at Sarvadharma, Mandakini, Priyanka Nagar crossing. We had recently given a memorandum to the Chief Engineer regarding this. He has said that the work will be completed soon. If the work on the said part is not completed by Diwali, then Congress will protest.
