Prompt action taken at Police Station
Upon finding the cash, Amit Sen immediately proceeded to the Gautam Nagar Police Station and informed Station In-Charge Mahendra Thakur of the incident. Sen was firm, stating that the money was not his and must be reunited with its true owner.
Following this, Sen went directly to the bank manager, providing a written application and depositing the entire amount back into the system.
