Bhopal: Enthusiasm is running high at the Indian Coast Guard Republic Day Camp-1 (ICG RDC-1) being held at the Central Police Training Academy, Kanhasalaiyya. The camp, organized by the 2nd MP Air Squadron NCC, Bhopal, has gathered 450 cadets, instructors, and officers from both Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
The primary goal of the camp is to intensely train and prepare NCC cadets from the two states for selection to represent them at the upcoming Republic Day Parade in Delhi. The finally selected cadets will shine a spotlight on their respective states at the main Republic Day Camp (RDC).
On Friday, the camp was inspected by Major General Vikrant M. Dhumane, Additional Director General, NCC Directorate Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh.
Addressing the assembled cadets, Major General Dhumane emphasized, “Discipline, dedication, and outstanding performance are the hallmarks of a true NCC cadet.” He urged everyone to give their best performance and elevate the Directorate’s name to the highest level.
The camp schedule is packed with activities like drill practice, Best Cadet competitions, cultural programs, and various training sessions designed to polish the cadets’ personality, leadership, and skill set.
