- Driver dies, deceased’s wife is 5 months pregnant
Bhopal: A high speed car overturned at Mahaneem intersection of Shamshabad-Berasia road on Sunday-Monday night. The car driver died in the accident. Three other people in the car are injured. The deceased’s wife is five months pregnant. Police have started investigation by registering a case.
According to the police, Anees Khan (40), son of Amin Khan, was originally a resident of Mandibamora district Vidisha. For the last twenty years, he was living in Kazi Camp, Bhopal and was selling junk. On Sunday, he had gone to Sironj to attend a relative’s wedding.
He was returning to Bhopal from there at around 1 o’clock in the night. His car lost control and overturned on Shamshabad Berasia Road. Anees was driving the car. Three other passengers Sajid, Baddu and Bablu were injured in the accident.
Passersby took him to the hospital with the help of an ambulance. Anees died during treatment on Monday morning. On information from the hospital, the police started the investigation by registering a case. After the post-mortem on Monday, the body was handed over to the family.
