Bhopal: In the presence of ADG Malay Jain, DIG OSD DG Vineet Kapoor, and senior officials, Paryavaran Sanskriti Sanrakshan evam Manav Kalyan Trust President Sushil Kumar Jain felicitated Bhoj Vihar Park’s guard Anil Rai for his courageous act of saving a woman’s life by jumping into the lake from the top of the bridge. HC Raghunath Verma, R Balram Nagpure, and constable R Manohar Bamaniya from the police department were also honoured who played a crucial role in the rescue.
Additionally, several women who collected dupattas and fashioned a rope from 10-15 dupattas to provide support for the woman were also praised for their quick thinking and bravery. It is reported that, for unknown reasons, a woman jumped from the Bhadbhada Bridge in Bhopal in an attempt to end her life, but thanks to the efforts of these people, her life was saved as they successfully retrieved her from the water.
