Ujjain (MP), July 25 (UNI) The Western Railway will be starting Madhya Pradesh’s sole Heritage Train from Patalpani to Kalakund tomorrow.
The trail is of particular interest to nature lovers as it will pass through the dense forests of Mhow tehsil near Indore and passengers shall be able to view high and low hills, view waterfalls and listen to the chirping of birds.
The decision follows long standing demand of travellers.
Ratlam Railway Division’s Public Relations Officer Khemraj Meena told media that the train would ply on Saturdays and Sundays. Tourists will have to access Patalpani Station by road. Train Number 52965 will depart from Patalpani at 1105 hrs and reach Kalakund two hours later whereas Train Number 52966 shall leave Kalakund at 1534 hrs and arrive in Patalpani at 1630 hrs. There will be a couple of air-conditioned chair cars and three non-AC ones.
