Health facilities are expanding rapidly: Shukla

  • Ayushman Bhava program concluded in Jabalpur

Bhopal: Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla said that the state and the country are developing rapidly, the country is becoming an economic superpower. There are continuous improvements in the health sector and health facilities are being expanded, due to which the general public is getting health facilities. Due to all these efforts, Madhya Pradesh has got rid of the stigma of Bimaru state. Deputy CM Shukla was addressing the Ayushman Bhava program at Kalchuri Hotel Jabalpur. He said that better work is being done continuously in Madhya Pradesh for education, health and employment.

Shukla said that at present 30 medical colleges are operating in the state. Discussing about the expansion of health facilities, he said that the process of recruitment of 30 thousand posts is going on, which will be completed by September-October. This will lead to availability of doctors in district hospitals, community health centres and primary health centres. The health facilities of Mahakoshal region will be better than the health facilities of Delhi, Mumbai, Nagpur. Jabalpur will soon get state-of-the-art machines for the treatment of cancer.

Shukla said that Ayushman Bharat Yojana is a revolutionary scheme in the field of health, due to which the poor are now getting health facilities easily. He said that from 2018 to 2024, 9 thousand crores have been paid under Ayushman Yojana. He also said that the vigilance team is also working continuously to ensure that there is no irregularity in this scheme. Generally, there is a problem of fingerprints of elderly people getting erased while making Ayushman cards. Now Ayushman cards are being made on the basis of retina of the eyes. In the field of health, work is being done at a rapid pace in the state and free screening is also going on.
