Health checkup camp organized for inmates in Central Jail

Bhopal: In compliance with the instructions given by the High Court of Madhya Pradesh, Jabalpur, a special medical cum legal aid camp program was organized for the health checkup of prisoners in Central Jail Bhopal on Saturday.

This program was inaugurated from the Central Jail located in Jabalpur by Chief Justice Suresh Kumar Kait of Madhya Pradesh High Court, Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva, Executive Chairman, Madhya Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, Justice Atul Shridharan and Justice Vivek Agarwal, Chairman High Court Legal Services Committee Jabalpur through video conferencing in the central jails falling under the jurisdiction of MP High Court Principal Bench Jabalpur.

In the Central Jail Bhopal, the chief guest of the program, Principal District and Sessions Judge Bhopal, Manoj Kumar Srivastava, inaugurated the special health camp and inspected the camp. On this occasion, Rampratap Mishra, Additional Sessions Judge Bhopal, Agnidhra Kumar Dwivedi, CJM Bhopal, Sunil Agarwal, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority Bhopal, Bharat Singh Raghuvanshi, Registrar, District Court Bhopal were among those present.

During the discussion with Chief Justice Kait, Jail Superintendent Rakesh Kumar Bhangre shared the health related information and problems of the prisoners lodged in the jail. The health check-up of prisoners was done by medical specialist doctors from Jai Prakash Hospital and Gandhi Medical College Bhopal.
