Bhopal: In a tragic incident, the wife of a head constable allegedly died by suicide at her residence in the Jahangirabad area on Sunday night. The woman, identified as Chandni Bhadoria (30), was found hanging in a room of her house when her husband, Dinesh Bhadoria, returned from an evening outing with their children.
According to police reports, Dinesh, a head constable in the police department, had taken the children to Lal Parade for a walk. When he returned home, he found the main gate locked from the inside. Despite repeatedly calling out, there was no response. Suspecting something was wrong, he broke open the gate and discovered his wife hanging.
The police were immediately informed and reached the spot. Chandni’s body was sent to Hamidia Hospital for postmortem. During the investigation, no suicide note was recovered from the scene. The police have seized her mobile phone for further examination.
Officials stated that the reason for the suicide remains unclear, and further details will emerge after recording statements from family members.
