Haryana Assembly Polls: BJP releases second list of 21 candidates, drops six MLAs

New Delhi, Sep 10 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janta party ( BJP) on Tuesday released its second list of 21 candidates for the ensuing assembly election in Haryana.

The party has dropped six MLAs, including a Minister, in the second list.

The party had so far declared 87 candidates for the 90-member assembly but it is yet to announce the candidates for Faridabad-NIT, Sirsa and Mahendergarh Constituencies.

The BJP has fielded Captain Yogesh Bairagi against Olympian Vinesh Phogat who is set to contest the polls on a Congress ticket from Julana.

The party has fielded Pawan Saini, from the Naraingarh seat while Satpal Jamba has been nominated to fight the polls from Pundri.

Yogender Rana has been fielded from Assandh while Devender Kaushik from Ganaur, replacing sitting BJP MLA Nirmal Rani.

BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli, the current MLA from Rai, has been replaced by Krishna Gehlawat.

Baldev Singh Mangiana will contest from Dabwali seat, Manish Grover has been nominated from Rohtak, Om Prakash Yadav from Narnaul, Krishna Kumar from Bawal (SC), Bimla Chaudhary from Pataudi (SC), Sanjay Singh fsrom Nuh and Naseem Ahmed from Ferozepur Jhirka seat.

Aizaz Khan has been fielded from Punhana, Manoj Rawat from Hathin, and Harinder Singh Ramrattan from Hodal (SC).

Seema Trikha, the MLA from Badhkal, has been dropped, and Dhanesh Adhlakha will contest from the seat.

The voting in the state will be held on October 5 in a single phase, while counting will take place on October 8.
