Mumbai, Jan 24 (UNI) The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Saturday announced India’s squad for the one-off Test against Australia Women, along with the India ‘A’ team for the ACC Rising Stars Women’s Asia Cup.
The Women’s Selection Committee named a 15-member squad for the Test match against Australia Women, scheduled to be played at the WACA in Perth from March 6 to 9, 2026, following the conclusion of the white-ball series.
Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the side, with Smriti Mandhana named as vice-captain. The squad includes regulars Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma, and Renuka Singh Thakur, alongside wicketkeepers Richa Ghosh and Uma Chetry.
India’s Women’s Test squad comprises Harmanpreet Kaur (Captain), Smriti Mandhana (Vice-Captain), Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Amanjot Kaur, Richa Ghosh (WK), Uma Chetry (WK), Pratika Rawal, Harleen Deol, Deepti Sharma, Renuka Singh Thakur, Sneh Rana, Kranti Gaud, Vaishnavi Sharma and Sayali Satghare.
The BCCI also confirmed that wicketkeeper G Kamalini has been ruled out of India’s Australia tour, with Uma Chetry named as her replacement in both the T20I and ODI squads.
In addition, the selection committee announced the India ‘A’ squad for the ACC Rising Stars Women’s Asia Cup, which will be played in T20 format in Thailand.
Radha Yadav has been named captain of the India ‘A’ side, which features a mix of emerging talent and domestic performers. The squad includes wicketkeepers Nandani Kashyap and Mamta M, along with promising players such as Vrinda Dinesh, Tejal Hasabnis, and Minnu Mani.
The India ‘A’ squad for the ACC Rising Stars Women’s Asia Cup includes Humairaa Kaazi, Vrinda Dinesh, Anushka Sharma, Deeya Yadav, Tejal Hasabnis, Nandani Kashyap (WK), Mamta M (WK), Radha Yadav (Captain), Sonia Mendhiya, Minnu Mani, Tanuja Kanwer, Prema Rawat, Saima Thakor, Jintamani Kalita, and Nandani Sharma.
