Hamidia Hospital terminates over 400 outsource employees

  • Action against protest amidst wage dispute

Bhopal – Hamidia Hospital has dismissed more than 400 outsourced employees without clearing their outstanding wages. The mass termination comes in the wake of persistent protests by these employees, who are also owed three months’ salary for November, December, and January.

Hospital management, addressing the issue, stated that the employees’ payments would be disbursed once funds are received from the government.

This is not the first time these outsourced workers have resorted to agitation due to delayed salaries. It is precisely these ongoing protests that are cited as the reason for the dismissal of over 400 employees, leaving many in a precarious financial situation.
