Bhopal: Marking a momentous century of service, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) hosted a grand Path Sanchalan (route march) in Shivaji Basti, Mahavir Nagar, on the auspicious day of Vijayadashami. The event saw 177 disciplined swayamsevaks march in full uniform, turning the streets into a vibrant display of nationalism.
Discipline and Community Spirit on Display
The proceedings began with the traditional Shastra Pujan (worship of weapons) and the resonant collective recitation of the RSS prayer, setting a solemn yet inspiring tone. Prior to the march, Dr. Rajkumar Malviya shared the core message of RSS founder Dr. K.B. Hedgewar, focusing on spiritual discipline and collective strength for national progress.
The parade, which started at Hanuman Mandir Bal Udyan, traversed major areas like Arjun Nagar and Panch Number Market. Residents met the march with overwhelming support, showering the participants with flowers, enthusiastic applause, and vibrant chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram.”
District Pracharak Dharmendra Sonakiya stated that the centenary is a “commitment to inner transformation leading to social change.” The event was further graced by Ironman Pravin Sapkal, Madhya Pradesh’s first Ironman, whose presence inspired youth and fitness enthusiasts. The successful, disciplined march, overseen by Mukhya Shikshak Jitendra Tiwari, strongly affirmed the RSS’s dedication to patriotism and social discipline.
