Govt committed to pay liabilities of JC Mill workers: CM

  • Workers and their families overwhelmed to find Dr Yadav among them

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the state government is committed to the welfare of workers under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On the lines of Indore’s Hukumchand Mill and Ujjain’s Vinod Mill, soon the process of payment of liabilities of workers of Gwalior’s JC Mill and other closed mills of the state will be initiated. The CM said that more than 8 thousand workers will be given proper justice in the cases of workers of Gwalior’s JC Mill which has been closed for 30-40 years.

CM Dr. Yadav had come to take stock of Gwalior’s JC Mill on Monday. During this, he visited the JC Mill premises, as well as took information about the land and other assets of JC Mill through the map.

JC Mill workers and their families were overwhelmed to find CM Dr. Yadav among them. Everyone gave a warm welcome to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav with flower garlands. Also said that for the first time a Chief Minister has come to JC Mill to listen to our problems. Now we are fully confident that our years old liabilities pending on JC Mill will be paid. On this occasion, Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav on behalf of JC Mill workers.

CM Dr. Yadav reiterated his commitment to protect the interests of JC Mill workers and said that the government wants a solution and not litigation. With this spirit, the government will present its side in the court in the interest of the workers, so that the way for payment of workers’ liabilities can be cleared. He said that instructions have been given to the officials in connection with the payment of the rights of JC Mill workers. The survey of the mill’s land and assets has been done.

IT units will be promoted in Gwalior

The CM said that there are immense possibilities in the field of IT (Information Technology) in Gwalior. To ensure that the IT expert youth here do not have to go out, units based on information technology will be given special promotion in Gwalior.

CM said that a series of regional conclaves is being organized to increase industrial investment in the state. He said that after the completion of the series of regional conclaves at the divisional level, a Global Investor Summit will be organized in February. Entrepreneurs from all over the world are being invited for industrial investment in the state.

CM said that in this series, he will soon visit Germany and Britain to invite investors. He said that events like Industry Conclave have created an industry friendly environment in the state, due to which industrial investment is taking place on a large scale.
