Governor reviews reconstruction works at Raj Bhavan

Bhopal: Governor Mangubhai Patel reviewed the progress of reconstruction works at Raj Bhavan on Sunday. He inspected the works at Gate No. 1 and the temple under renovation in the Raj Bhavan premises, accompanied by Principal Secretary Dr. Navneet Mohan Kothari and Additional Secretary Shri Umashankar Bhargava.

Governor Patel visited the under-construction temple, discussed details with officials of the construction agency and reviewed the progress. He instructed officials to ensure the timely completion of works with a special focus on quality.

Governor was informed that the project includes construction of a 2,700 sq. ft. temple hall, a 1,120 sqft dining hall with storage and a 560 sq. ft. kitchen. The total cost of the temple reconstruction project is Rs. 84.13 lakh, including Rs. 76.96 lakh for civil works and Rs. 7.16 lakh for electrical works. The Governor also inspected the construction status of Gate No. 1 and issued necessary directives to the officials.
