Bhopal: The body of a 19-year-old girl was found in her own house. There are marks of cutting with a sharp weapon on her neck. The family discovered the body on Tuesday morning and informed the police at around 7:30 am.
The incident occurred in TT Nagar. The girl was scheduled to get married in October. TI Gaurav Singh stated that no sharp weapon has been recovered from the scene. Currently, it remains unclear whether any outsider had entered the house. Police indicate that the circumstances surrounding the girl’s death will only be clarified following the post-mortem report and forensic investigation.
The police conducted the post-mortem at Hamidia Hospital and subsequently handed over the body to the family.
The body was found soaked in blood in the room, while wedding preparations were ongoing at home. The family reported that Roshni was engaged to a young man from the Kohefija area in June, with the marriage planned for October. Preparations for the wedding were in full swing, and Roshni had shown relatives the clothes she had purchased for the occasion just a day prior. Roshni’s father sells clothes by hawking.
