Gadkari takes charge as Minister of Road Transport & Highways

New Delhi, June 12 (UNI) Nitin Gadkari took charge as the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) for the third time in a row here on Wednesday.

Besides the Union Minister, Ajay Tamta and Harsh Malhotra also took charge as Ministers of State.

Meanwhile, Gadkari in a post on social media X said, “Resuming office as the Minister of Road Transport and Highways, alongside Ministers of State Shri @AjayTamtaBJP Ji and Shri @hdmalhoyra Ji. Heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri @narendramodi Ji, for reassigning me this role in Modi 3.0. Under your visionary leadership, India will be equipped with world-class. Modern infrastructure at an accelerated pace”.

MoRTH Secretary Anurag Jain and other senior officials welcomed the Union Minister and Ministers of State at the Transport Bhawan premises.
