Free medical camp organized in TT Nagar Gurudwara

Bhopal, An atmosphere of devotion and community service prevailed at Gurdwara Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, Saket Nagar, Bhopal, as devotees gathered in large numbers on Monday to celebrate the Prakash Parv of the ninth Sikh Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, also known as Hind Di Chadar. The spiritual energy was palpable from the early morning hours, with devotees arriving from across the region to bow before the Guru and participate in the special Kirtan Darbar. The gurdwara was beautifully decorated with colorful lights and floral arrangements, creating a serene and divine environment.

The Kirtan Darbar featured renowned Ragi Bhai Amritpal Singh from Amritsar and Bhai Harpreet Singh from Delhi, who mesmerized the sangat with soulful hymns and narratives celebrating Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib’s supreme sacrifice, resilience, and unwavering stand for religious freedom. Their renditions brought alive the timeless legacy of the Guru, whose valor and compassion earned him the revered title of Hind Ki Chadar.

In conjunction with the celebrations, the Guru Nanak Charitable Medical Center organized a free multi-specialty health camp at the TT Nagar Gurdwara. A total of 1,041 patients received checkups and free medicines across departments including ophthalmology (249), ENT (65), cardiology (20), orthopedics (83), dermatology (108), dentistry (85), and more. The event was graced by Arvinder Purohit, Officer on Special Duty to the Governor, who also inaugurated a new tonometer funded by the Governor’s grant.
