Bhopal: On the eve of the Republic Day celebrations at BHEL, Bhopal, the Foundry Department was awarded the First Prize in the 5-S competition organised during Vishwakarma Puja 2025. The award was presented by Pradeep Kumar Upadhyay, Executive Director, BHEL, Bhopal, at a function held in the Cultural Hall.
The prize was conferred in recognition of the department’s consistent efforts towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and workplace organisation in line with 5-S principles.
Senior officials present on the occasion included Rupesh Telang, General Manager (Feeders & Transformers – Manufacturing, Commercial & Maintenance), S. A. Dongre, General Manager (Feeders), and Anil Kumar Singh, AGM and Head of Department, FYM.
Addressing the gathering, the officials underlined the importance of a clean, safe and well-organised work environment. They encouraged employees to sustain these practices and continue striving for continuous improvement and excellence across all operations.
