Kaithal, (UNI) An important joining took place in BJP in Haryana politics on Tuesday. Ishwar Singh, former MLA of the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP), from Guhla-Cheeka and former Rajya Sabha MP and Chairman of the National Scheduled Caste Commission, joined the BJP along with his son and daughter-in-law, in the presence of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and State President Mohan Lal Kaushik.
After joining, Ishwar Singh said that he decided to join the BJP family after being impressed by the public welfare work, social justice and development policies being carried out by the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Haryana Government under the guidance of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
He expressed confidence that only Bharatiya Janata Party is capable of making the country and the state strong, prosperous and self-reliant.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini welcomed Ishwar Singh and his family to BJP and said that his experience, social concern and spirit of public service will definitely strengthen the party.
State President Mohan Lal Kaushik said that Ishwar Singh’s joining the BJP is a big achievement for the organization and this will further strengthen the party’s support base in all sections including the Scheduled Caste society. On this occasion, a large number of party officials, workers and dignitaries also took membership of the party.
