Srinagar, May 21 (UNI) Days after resigning from the Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP), former Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Mohammad Amin Bhat rejoined the Congress party on Wednesday.
Bhat returned to party during a function held in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district during which senior Congress leaders including its J&K president Tariq Karra were present.
“This is my home coming,” Bhat said.
Bhat who served as the provincial president of the DPAP led by former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad recently resigned from the party.
