Kochi, Feb 9 (UNI) Newly launched regional airline Fly91 commenced its operations from Kochi on Monday, with services on the Agatti–Kochi–Agatti sector, further strengthening air connectivity between the mainland and the Lakshadweep islands.
The airline will operate flights as per the schedule announced earlier, offering regular services on this sector. With the induction of Fly91, passengers travelling between Kochi and Agatti will have additional travel options, improving convenience and connectivity.
IndiGo and Alliance Air are already operating daily flights on the Agatti–Kochi–Agatti route. Airport authorities said the entry of Fly91 is expected to enhance competition, improve capacity and support the growing demand for travel to Lakshadweep, particularly for tourism and essential travel.
The new operations from Kochi mark an important milestone for Fly91 as it begins expanding its regional network, while reinforcing Kochi’s role as a key aviation gateway to the island territory.
