Flights to Kolkata are going to start soon due to the efforts of MP Alok Sharma. Currently, there is a lot of traffic pressure from Bhopal to other cities and in such a situation, there is a constant demand for flights to many big cities from the public.
MP Alok Sharma has taken this issue related to the public seriously. MP Sharma met Union Aviation Minister K Ram Mohan Naidu in Delhi on Saturday and demanded to start flights from Bhopal to Kolkata. The Aviation Minister has accepted it and assured to start flights to Kolkata from November. Its schedule will be released soon. Flights from Bhopal to Pune are going to start from next month. Bookings for which will also start in a day or two. MP Alok Sharma expressed his gratitude to the Union Aviation Minister for the Bhopal to Pune flight. Along with this, MP Sharma also discussed with the Union Minister about starting flights from Bhopal to Lucknow, Bhopal to Chandigarh, Bhopal to Goa and Bhopal to Rewa. Meanwhile, preparations have been completed to start flight services to other destinations at Bhopal’s Raja Bhoj Airport. Starting flight services from Bhopal to Pune, Bhopal to Kolkata, Bhopal to Lucknow, Bhopal to Rewa and other cities will reduce traffic pressure in Bhopal.
Demand is constantly increasing
On one hand, the public’s problems increase due to lack of time and not getting reservation in trains. This is the reason that there is a constant demand for flights from the people of Bhopal and the surrounding areas. With the efforts of MP Alok Sharma, not only will flights be available from Bhopal to other cities of the country, but international flights will also start soon from Raja Bhoj Airport. It is worth mentioning that MP Alok Sharma has already got the necessary customs approval and immigration check approval for starting international flights at Raja Bhoj Airport. From October 1, Raja Bhoj Airport will be open for 24-hour service.
