Mumbai, July 5 (UNI) In a cinematic gesture befitting a star of his stature, Bollywood powerhouse Ranveer Singh is set to unveil the first look of his upcoming film ‘Dhurandhar’ on the occasion of his birthday, July 6.
The ambitious cinematic venture, helmed by director Aditya Dhar, is being produced under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios.
The first look of the film was originally planned as a surprise birthday gift for the actor, a closely guarded creative gesture orchestrated by Dhar himself. However, the surprise did not quite go according to plan. News of the reveal leaked online and eventually reached Ranveer himself.
According to sources close to the production, Aditya was very excited about this surprise and he left no stone unturned to keep it a secret. Although Ranveer had seen initial footage of ‘Dhurandhar’, the final first look unit, scheduled for release on his birthday, was kept strictly confidential. The two have had numerous discussions, and Ranveer has asked countless questions regarding the same, all of which Aditya has patiently addressed.
“Ranveer knows something special is coming, a true cinematic treat, but he hasn’t seen the final cut,” revealed an insider from the production team. “It’s entirely Aditya’s ingenious way of making this birthday not just memorable, but truly iconic for his superstar.”
